Arts now have their own unique role, not the best DPS, not the best range, but best alpha. I love it.
Also a falloff script is badly needed for tracking comps.
With regards to AC balancing, be careful with mediums, they are in a good place right now. Large need a good look at as do smalls.

There is nothing wrong with Tempest and Maelstrom as ships...
It's Projectile weapons need that changing. I really like the idea of increasing falloff with the higher tier Weapons (800mm and 650mm)

I actually disagree with this. Any change that affects the Tempest and Maelstrom in the same way still leaves the Tempest shortchanged by comparison to the Mael. Without differentiating them, the Mael's turrets will always do 6.667% more damage than the Tempest's at the exact same range, before you ever take into account the fact that the Mael can easily fit more damage mods.
Yes that's the point, The Maelstrom is supposed todo more damage.. Its a Tier 3 ship specialised for tank and damage..
Even with this I fly the Tempest more than the Maelstrom in fast roaming gangs because its the 2 utility slots combined with the damage (and agility) that get me kills in the tempest.
My point is that the x % less damage you get in the Pest is worth having for the ability to use 2 Neuts or 2 remote reps (depending on your gang).
If you flew these ships rather than running EFT looking and the DPS figures and you would know this.
